Mike Pereznegron

Prior to joining PGS, Coach Pereznegron spent 3 seasons with Benedictine University Mesa, and was a part of a Cal Pac Conference championship, and 2 NAIA regional appearances. While there he helped the team achieve 5 Cal Pac Gold gloves, 1 NAIA Rawlings gold glove, as well as the most double plays turned in 2023. 

Mike Pereznegron graduated from Lathrop (CA) High School in 2013 before attending San Joaquin Delta College for a year. He then transferred to University of Antelope Valley to start his decorated career. While at UAV, Pereznegron was a leader of 3 straight Cal Pac Conference Championship teams, with 1 NAIA World Series appearance, 2x Cal Pac All Conference, 1x Cal Pac Gold Glove, and an NAIA World Series Gold Glove. Coach Pereznegron then served UAV as a graduate assistant before going back to San Joaquin Delta College in 2020 as an assistant coach.

Pereznegron graduated from the University of Antelope Valley with a Bachelor's in Sports Management and a Master's in Education. Mike is engaged to his lovely fiancée Alyssa Torrijos, they have two kids Aria (2), Isaac (12), & their Husky Sarge.
